Contributors
CustusX was created by and is maintained by SINTEF Medical Technology, in cooperation with the Norwegian National Competence Centre for Ultrasound and Image-Guided Therapy (St. Olavs Hospital, SINTEF, NTNU). An extended version of the platform is used daily in research at St. Olavs Hospital and partners.
The work on CustusX began in 1998. The current platform was initialized in 2009, and was used internally until it was converted to an open source project in 2014.
